DE-514 | Never thought I would receive such a "thank you message"

A few weeks ago I was taking a trip in Lviv, Ukraine, during which I got a free slot here. I like to send cards during travel and thought it would be good to get some Ukrainian EUROPA stamps. I went to the PO in Lviv and bought the correct stamp and mailed a card with it, from Lviv. Today the card reached the recipient. To my surprise, it was rated 3 and I got this thank you letter from her...

Hello! I'm dumbfounded by your postcard, why is it with a German ID? With the stamp of Ukraine and also sent from Ukraine? This is not practiced here on the site and is not correct. I would like to receive such a postcard from Germany, but not from Ukraine. If you are traveling you need to change the country in your profile to Ukraine, then your number will be Ukrainian.

The important thing in this exchange is that the stamp is from EUROPA series and that it was sent from the issuing country.

To avoid the confusion you could temporary change the country while requesting an address. However, this is a minor aspect and it should not matter for the rating.

I don't get the point that one would be pissed off merely by a few digits. And I'm fairly new here, this rating just lowered my overall rating a lot. And below is what I replied:

Hello ---, I find your message unfriendly and offensive. I have never received such a message before. This platform is about postcards with stamps from EUROPA series, and I spent time to find the EUROPA stamp when I was travelling in Ukraine. I chose the correct stamp and I mailed with correct stamp. This is what europostcards.club requires. The ID is just an ID for registration. Nobody ever says that I MUST switch country when travelling. Plus, the card is beautiful enough and deserves a 5-star. But you probably do not deserve the card and the time, effort, and story behind it. :)
